Named in honour to Rada Penfold Collins, who represented Penfolds in the 1970s and later became a pioneering female voice in Australian wine writing.
The 2025 vintage marks a new direction for Rada, a blend of Pinot Noir (65%) and Gamay (35%) inspired by Burgundy’s Passe-tout-grains. A balance of rosewater and spicy Bing cherry fills the nose, backed by subtle white miso undertones. The palate is lithe and bright, with a fine acid line and silty, chewy tannins that carry through to a persistent, supple finish.
A graceful, medium-bodied red that’s delicious lightly chilled.
