Nanny Goat Single Vineyard Bendigo Pinot Noir 2024

Nanny Goat Single Vineyard Bendigo Pinot Noir 2024

Nanny Goat has built its name on polished, site-driven Pinots that balance Central Otago’s natural power with restraint and precision. This single-vineyard release comes from their Bendigo site – a steep, north-facing slope of schist and clay that consistently turns out structured, concentrated fruit.

The 2024 season was warm and dry, producing small, evenly ripened berries. The fruit was hand-picked and fermented with wild yeast in small open-top tanks, combining whole bunch and destemmed parcels for lift and texture. It then rested in French oak for just over a year, enough to shape the wine without adding weight.

It’s unmistakably Bendigo – dark cherry, plum and spice with firm, savoury tannins and a long, mineral finish. A confident, finely made Pinot that shows exactly what this vineyard does best.
