The wine comes from the purest grape juice and it alone allows Laurent-Perrier to craft 'La CuvĂ©e', a champagne of great finesse and a beautiful freshness obtained after a long ageing process in our cellars. Pale gold in color. Fine bubbles feed a persistent mousse. A delicate nose with hints of fresh citrus and white flowers. The wineâs complexity is expressed in successive notes like vine peach and white fruits notes. A perfect balance between freshness and delicacy with fruity flavors very present on the finish. This fresh and pure wine is perfect for an apĂ©ritif. Its citrus and white fruits notes and its remarkable balance supported by a subtle effervescence, make it an ideal accompaniment to poultry and the finest fish.
"Earlier this year, âLPâ as its affectionately known, decided to up the ante with their MV (multi vintage) blend. While their MV has set a cracking quality pace over the years, this wine takes things to another level.
A blend of over 100 âcrusâ, the cĂ©page is 50-55% Chardonnay around 25% Pinot Noir and the balance pinot meunier. I often find many of the âgrand marquesâ MVâs aggressive and unattractive.
