Aged for approximately 3 years in Slavonian and French oak barrels (20â40 hectoliters), 2 months in steel, and finally at least 6 months in bottle. Fruity aromas of cherry and raspberry, blood orange, followed by cloves, cinchona, potpourri, and licorice. Ruby-garnet color. Soft and full-bodied on the palate, with vigorous acidity and savory flavors. Lovely fruity and balsamic finish. Ideal with lamb tagine with prunes and almonds, game, cheeses, and pork.
